What This Site Currently Uses
The current Lost Story Studios site code does not set first-party cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage for advertising, personalization, accounts, ecommerce, or embedded media. The site does include a Kit newsletter signup integration and may use Cloudflare Web Analytics when that beacon is active on the live site.
Kit and Cloudflare may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies depending on their service implementation, browser, and session state.
Kit Newsletter Signup
Newsletter signup forms are provided through Kit. When a visitor uses the form, Kit receives the submitted information and may use cookies, local storage, scripts, or similar technologies to operate the form, prevent abuse, remember form state, or manage the subscription process.
Cloudflare Turnstile
The Contact page loads Cloudflare Turnstile when a public Turnstile site key is configured. Turnstile is used for security and spam prevention. It may use cookies or similar technologies to verify that a visitor is legitimate and to help protect the form from automated abuse.
Essential And Security Purposes
Any cookies or similar technologies associated with Turnstile are used for essential security and anti-abuse purposes related to the Contact form.
Third-Party Services
Cloudflare provides Turnstile verification for the Contact page. The contact form also uses Cloudflare Email Sending after a valid message is submitted. Kit provides the newsletter signup form. Cloudflare Web Analytics may provide aggregate traffic measurement when the analytics beacon is active. The current site code does not include Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or cookie-consent management.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
When Cloudflare Web Analytics is active on the live site, Cloudflare may process basic technical and usage information such as page views, referrers, browser or device details, and approximate request information. This is used for aggregate site analytics rather than visitor accounts or advertising profiles.
Your Browser Controls
Most browsers let you block, delete, or limit cookies and similar site data. If you block security-related technologies, the Contact form may not submit successfully. Blocking third-party scripts or storage may also affect newsletter signup behavior or analytics measurement.
Cookie Consent
Based on the current implementation, the site does not include advertising cookies or a custom cookie-consent platform. If the site later adds advertising, personalization, or other non-essential tracking, this policy should be updated and consent requirements should be reviewed.
